Payment, shipping and returns

Payment

When you submit an order online, no amount is charged before shipping. Only an authorization is made with your financial institution.

All prices listed on the website are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Taxes apply based on the province of the delivery address.

We accept the following payment methods:

Delivery

Order processing

When the items ordered are in inventory, Performance Bégin agrees to dispatch your order within 1 to 3 working days following confirmation of payment. Orders made during major sales (holidays, crazy Friday, cyber Monday, etc.) may require a longer shipping time.

The processing of orders for which items are out of stock will vary depending on the lead time. An email will be sent to you to inform you of the approximate deadlines. If the item on order is no longer available, you will be informed and your order will be canceled.

Delivery methods

Performance Bégin sells online and delivers only in Canada.

When an order is shipped, an email will be sent to you to let you know. Depending on the delivery method, a carrier tracking number may be present.

Performance Bégin chooses the carrier (Canada Post, Expedibus, etc.) based on the products ordered in order to minimize delivery costs.

Performance Bégin reserves the right to refuse to send an order if we are unable to confirm the billing address linked to the credit card used. We also reserve the right to refuse to ship an order to a different address than the one linked to the credit card used.

Delivery rates
Performance Bégin ships orders of $ 100 or more before taxes free of charge, except for items requiring special handling. See list below.

A delivery charge of $ 10 will be added for all orders of less than $ 100 before taxes. Orders containing items requiring special handling are also subject to this policy.

The items below are subject to additional delivery charges due to their size or weight. These costs are added automatically to the total of the order. All prices below are based on the number of items ordered.

  • Alpine ski bindings: $ 30 *
  • Alpine ski boots: $ 50
  • Alpine ski poles: $ 25
  • Alpine skis: $ 50
  • Bicycle cart: $ 100
  • Bike (except electric bikes / for juniors): $ 100
  • Bike for juniors: $ 50
  • Bike frames: $ 50
  • Bike rack: $ 30
  • Bike wheels: $ 20
  • Car support: $ 50
  • Child Seats: $ 20
  • Cross-country ski bindings: $ 25 *
  • Cross-country ski boots: $ 30
  • Cross-country ski poles: $ 25
  • Cross-country skis: $ 50
  • Electric bike: $ 150
  • Roller skis: $ 30
  • Training base: $ 30

* When a pair of alpine / cross-country skis and bindings are part of the same order, the bindings are shipped free of charge.

Delivery delay

Delivery times are approximate and beyond the control of Performance Bégin.

  • Quebec and surroundings: 1 to 3 days
  • Province of Quebec: 1 to 4 days
  • Other provinces: 2 to 7 day


Due to COVID-19, delivery times may vary.

Free pick up in store

If you choose to pick up in store, you can collect your order after receiving confirmation of your payment.

Please note that due to the restrictions related to CODIV-19, only car pickup will be possible. Please contact us by email (info@performancebegin.com) to make an appointment and obtain pick-up instructions.

Cancellation of an order

It is possible to cancel an order before it is dispatched. Once the order has been shipped, you will need to make a return.

Returns, exchanges and final sale

You can return, at your expense, new items * that do not suit you within 30 days of your purchase, except for the following items:

  • Bikes including electric bikes and batteries.
  • Bicycle racks
  • Car mounts
  • Bicycle / multisport carts
  • Alpine skis
  • Cross-country skis
  • Roller skis
  • Wax for alpine skis / cross-country skis
  • Body care products
    Hydration and nutrition product
  • Electronic: no open box will be refunded
  • Worn / Tagless / Dirty Clothes

* Definition of a new article:

  • Has never been used in addition to trying it.
  • Has no signs of wear and is fully functional.
  • Is in its sales packaging.

Please note that a period of 7 to 10 days may apply in order to make the refund. The reimbursement will be made using the same payment method as that used for the initial transaction.
Return costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Trades

No exchange is possible. The transaction must be canceled, the item returned and a new transaction must be made.

Final sale

No returns are possible on items sold at more than 40% off which is considered a final sale.
